The UK gets a lot of attention for mutating the jazz continuum in interesting new directions but I'm currently transfixed by France's gilet jaune wearing Parasite Jazz whose self titled debut LP is a hard hitting, freewheeling, deviantly dubbed, post punk, krautrock, jazz not jazz fusion that simmers with discontent & righteous anger. The revolution will most definitely be televised and this gets my vote for the soundtrack.
